The Lynchburg Pops Community Band Singers is select group of singers that provides choral and solo music in support of the overall mission of the LPCB.
A number of musical genres are presented including Broadway, movie themes, pops, classical, patriotic, as well as seasonal favorites.
Pops Singers participate in concerts usually 3-4 times a year and, with limited rehearsal time, every effort is made to accommodate personal schedules.
Pops Singers should possess a good sight reading ability and a stated commitment to learning and memorizing music.
The Lynchburg Pops Community Band Singers invites anyone interested in auditioning to become a member of the group to submit the following for consideration by the Pops Singers Audition Committee:
A brief statement of interest and choral/solo/stage experience.
*If you are selected for an audition, you will be required to sing a song of your choosing and you should also be able to provide your own accompanist. You may also opt to sing with a prerecorded track delivered via bluetooth to your personal speaker.
